On Wednesday, August 16, 2021, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Kurdistan Region held a meeting in the presence of university presidents to discuss the project and plan for the start of the new academic year.

The meeting, which was chaired by the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Aram Muhammad Qader, discussed the project of starting the new academic year, and pointed to the start of the academic year on the first of next September, according to the university calendar, and the return to study seats on campus, provided that the health situation does not worsen, in addition to adherence to health instructions and safety conditions.
